Packaging & Turnaround

After payment is received, items are shipped within 4 business days*, in complimentary deluxe packaging - ready for yourself or gift giving. For safe arrival, depending on the products purchased, they are mailed either in a bubble mailer or bubblewrapped enclosed within a box.

* There are two cases of delays:

1. If purchasing a backordered item, please expect up to a two week delay.

2. If purchasing during a holiday season, please expect up to a 3 day delay.

Currency

Prices are set in Australia Dollar (AUD) as default. To view it in your currency, go to a gallery and click on your flag underneath "Currency" in toolbar.

Payment Methods

Cocoa Pod accepts all major debit/credit cards, which are all conveniently processed through Paypal. You do not need to sign up with Paypal to pay with a debit/credit card.

If you are Australian, we also accept bank deposits. This information will be provided to you at the checkout.

All payments must be made in AUD.

Shipping

Products are shipped from West Australia. Shipping prices are determined by the total weight of your order. Prices are in AUD.

1. Registered air mail: Insurance of up to $100 is included.

Exchanges & Refunds

I make it a point of selling jewellery that is meticulously made, with packaging that matches the quality. If for some reason you find that the quality of your jewellery is not satisfactory, contact us and we can work things out.  Each case is dealt with on an individual basis.

Damage & Loss of Mail

Please get in contact with us as soon as possible, and we will immediately look into it. If need be, we will file a complaint form on your behalf. It may take up to 6 weeks for Australia Post to investigate the problem and issue compensation if the package cannot be found. Investigation for international packages may take longer.

Compensation varies depending what shipping option was used:

Regular: compensation will only be up to AU$50.

Registered: full compensation.

Express: no compensation.

In the case of damage mail, please send us a photo of the package and item.

Item Customisation

Cocoa Pod understands that we're all unique. If you would like customisation done, please contact us prior to purchasing, with what you have in mind. Depending on the change, a fee may be incured to cover costs.

Customising we have done before include:
1. Convert earwires to clip-on/screw-on and studs
2. Shorten and extend length of chain
3. Convert gold-filled to sterling silver (and visa versa)

Gift Certificates & Coupons

To redeem both certificates and coupons, you must type in the given code at the shopping basket. Price adjustments will be made to qualified orders at the checkout and all orders are subject to verification. Please see details on your gift certificate or discount coupon for entire terms and conditions.

Registering/Joining the Site

You have the choice to register on the site. Being registered has the added benefit of being able to store valuable information for your ease (with list, address, billing info, etc). You can choose to register at any time. To register, you simply click Account on the below toolbar.

We strive to describe our products as accurate as possible, however we cannot assure that product descriptions or any content within the Site are error-free.

For example, measurements in product descriptions are approximate, and therefore may be a few millimeters out. Due to the variance of computers and computer monitors, colours may vary. Please keep in mind that the items may appear larger in photos, as we try to show as much details of the products as possible.

Cocoa Pod reserves the right to change prices at any time, and to fix or cancel orders with pricing problems due to typographical or other errors on the Site. Cocoa Pod reserves the right to change or update content on the Site at any time without prior notice, even after your order already has been placed.

Loss or Damage of Goods in Transit

We cannot be held responsible for unregistered packages. It is your responsibility to take up the matter with Australia Post if you opted not to register your package.

For losses and damages of registered packages, we will file a complaint form on your behalf, it may take up to 6 weeks for Australia Post to investigate the problem and issue compensation if the package cannot be found. Investigation for international packages may take longer. Cocoa Pod is not responsible for the time it takes for the investigation.

External links and Electronic Data Transmission

The Site contains contains external links to other websites on the Internet owned and operated by third parties. Unencrypted data or emails transferred from us may be intercepted or modified by other parties, we do not warrant that any data transferred are free of viruses or harmful components. By using the Site, you agree that Cocoa Pod is not responsible for the operation of or content located on or through any such site.

Taxes and Duties

International customers may be charged value added tax, sales tax, or custom duties by the Customs of your country. These charges are solely the customer's responsibility. If you are concerned, please read up on your country’s import fees before purchasing, as all our products are subject to such duties and taxes.

Collecting Information

Cocoa Pod will not share any of your personal information. Unless you choose to provide the information to us, we do not collect any information about you when you visit this website.

If you opted to subscribe to our newsletter, you will receive monthly e-mails from us announcing new products, exclusive discounts, events, or updates to our website. We do not share our e-mail list information with anyone not associated with us.

Credit Card

Credit card payments are processed through www.PayPal.com. This information is collected exclusively by PayPal to securely process the order, and is not accessible to Cocoa Pod. They use Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption of the highest level commercially available. You can read more about Paypal’s privacy policy on their website.

Changes

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use following Cocoa Pod's posting of any changes will constitute your approval of such changes.
